About Us:

The Lensbury is a part of the London and Regional Hotels Group, who have a portfolio of over 17,000 bedrooms worldwide; including City Centre, Country Estates, and Resort destinations.

The Lensbury is a beautiful and unique property situated by Teddington Lock, Middlesex, and was constructed in the early 1930’s. It is set within 25 acres of landscaped grounds, and our facilities include a 4* Hotel, a Conference Centre, onsite Dining, Weddings, Events and Special Occasions, leisure activities including Rugby, Tennis, Watersports and Spa facilities, and a premium leisure members club and gym, with a 25 metre swimming pool.

The Lensbury truly is a piece of the countryside in the Heart of Teddington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chief instructor in delivering both on and off the water activities; including sailing, paddle sports, dragon boating and raft building.
  • Run a variety of activities including big corporate teambuilding events, activity days for summer camps and kids clubs.
  • You will be in charge of the watersports team in the absence of the chief instructor
  • Maintain a high level of customer care at all times to ensure an optimum service to all.
  • Follow all Lensbury policies and procedures.

What we are looking for?

  • Must hold a valid DBS certification
  • Must have a senior instructor qualification
  • Must have either a dinghy instructor or a kayak coach qualification
  • Experience in working with children and young people
  • Be computer Literate
  • Bright personality with excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work on initiative and prepared to accept responsibility.
  • Excellent team player
  • Good health & safety knowledge
  • First Aid qualification is preferable

Terms & Conditions:

  • Fixed term contract, March –October 2020
  • 30 hours per week
  • Competitive Salary
