Sailing or Kayak Instructor

The Role

  • Running courses to Royal Yachting Association standard or Kayak BCU/UKCC Level 2 standard, including day to day duties within the Watersports Centre.
  • Teaching sailing or kayaking on a one-to-one basis and to groups of adults or children from 8 years upwards.
  • Providing safety information, following Health and safety guidelines and industry best practice.


The Candidate

  • Must hold either RYA Dinghy Instructor qualification or BCU Level 1 Kayak Coach
  • First Aid RYA Small Craft or Equivalent
  • Good customer awareness skills


  • BCU Level 2 Kayak Coach or New Equivalent
  • Dragon Boat Helm

  • Part-time seasonal opportunities (March to October)
