Coronavirus Statement

Dear Valued Members and Guests,

Firstly, and most importantly, I hope you and your loved ones are staying well and healthy during this unprecedented time. It is with this in mind and with a very heavy heart that I am writing to inform you that we have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily close The Lensbury from 9.00pm tonight (Friday 20th March 2020) until further notice.

This decision is in line with the latest Government advice to businesses of our nature and is in response to the worldwide and widespread outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), recent developments and the health and well-being of all at this unprecedented time. Although this decision has not been taken lightly, our members, guests and employees health is our top priority and we are supporting all actions required by the Government to mitigate the impact of the spread of this disease in a time that we have not seen in the 100 year history of The Lensbury.

We do understand that there may be concerns around the payment of your membership fees during this time, which is why we will not be processing any membership payments during the current period of uncertainty and until further notice – we will take care of this so you do not need to contact us. Whilst you are unable to use our facilities and services, all memberships will be frozen and to this effect we are not in a position to process any cancellations. As soon as we are able, we will look to re-open the Club and restart your membership, at which time we will be in contact. We will also look to honour or rearrange all pre-booked activities upon reopening.

We thank you for your understanding, continued support and loyalty during this challenging time and would thank you for your co-operation in saving any membership and booking queries until the Club reopens. Together, we can prevail and move forward from this significant challenge that faces us all.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide further updates via email and The Lensbury Club app in due course, as the situation progresses. We will also make all updates available via this webpage.

Take care of yourselves, your families and loved ones. Rest assured, we at The Lensbury will be here to welcome you back with the warmest of hospitality in the not too distant future.
