Dragon Boat Season is back!

Are you looking for a fun-filled challenge? Join The Lensbury Dragon Boat Team as we paddle against teams in our very own dragon boats to raise money for our charity of the year, Ruils Independent Living. This adrenaline pumping watersports activity guarantees a fun day on the River Thames whilst contributing to your local community.

Who can take part?

We welcome members of all abilities to join our teams. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a complete beginner, everyone’s welcome.

We will be running training sessions in the build up to the race so please feel free to join us in preparation for the big day (you must have completed the training sessions ahead of the race).

We will be entering two teams of members and staff – one all-female and the other mixed.

Training Sessions

Join us for training at The Watersports Centre every Tuesday evening from 15th April 5.30pm – 7pm.

All training sessions are on a drop-in basis and teams will be selected from those available on race day and have attended training.

All safety equipment is provided. We train during all weather conditions (a set of clothes to change into is recommended). We recommend wearing sportswear (you may wish to bring old trainers and water-resistant clothes where possible).

Race Day

Sunday 20th July at Canbury Gardens, Kingston. All day event with 3 heats throughout the day per team. The fastest 9 teams compete in the grand final. Let’s go for gold this year!

Junior tennis camps are a super fun and relaxed environment for juniors to have fun with their friends whilst improving their tennis skills during the school holidays. Fun games are used to aid players improve their skills in all areas of the game and throughout the week.

Join Ruils’ team to take on the Thames Path Challenge. You can choose your distance (100, 50, 28 km) and method (walk or run). You’ll help us raise vital funds for our work and get a proper Thames Path Challenge medal, t-shirt and a glass of fizz at the end.  It’s fun, sociable and a great challenge no matter what distance you choose.
