Job description

Do you enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced, thriving kitchen? Are you looking to work with a diverse, friendly and passionate team? The Lensbury could be the place for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Chef de Partie to join our Brigade.

Key Responsibilities:

•Delivering a high standard of food from your section, as directed by the Chef in-charge and in line with standards
•Planning, preparing and monitoring the quality of food from your section, ensuring consistency at all times
•Working alongside the Sous Chefs and Executive Head Chef to ensure a consistent standard of food is delivered to The Lensbury’s guests.
•Supporting Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Lounge.
•Carrying our daily health and safety checks in line with the Food Safety policy
•Assisting the senior chefs with planning and costing of menus as required

What we are looking for?

• NVQ level 2/3 or similar relevant industry experience and qualifications
• Proven experience of running a section, ideally within a high volume and quality, multi outlet kitchen or Brasserie
• Must have valid Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
• Clean, neat and methodical approach to work
• Able to work under pressure
• A passionate individual and team player
• Must be willing to work hard and be flexible as per business needs
