Members' Reception Improvement Works FAQ

Members’ Reception will be closed from this weekend.

Q. Why is Members’ Reception closing?
A. Members’ Reception will be closed to allow for the planned improvement works to take place.

Q. Where will Members enter the Club?
A. From Saturday 16th March Members will enter through Hotel Reception, Members will be required to scan their card at Hotel Reception before entry. (on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March the Members’ Reception desk will remain open for bookings only).

From Monday 18th March Members’ Reception will be fully closed.

Q. How long will the work take?
A. Works are expected to run until Monday 15th April .

Q. Will the Soft Play area be open?
A. Yes, the Soft Play will remain open throughout the works and can be accessed as normal.

Q. How do you access to the Spa?
A. The Spa will remain open and can be reached as normal. A small corridor will be installed temporarily, allowing access past Members’ Reception and through to the Conference Centre.

Q. Will there be restricted parking?
A. There will be no restriction on parking.

Q. How do we access Lockside?
A. Once Members have scanned their Membership Card at Reception they can make their way through the Restaurant and outside using the exits on the far left of the Restaurant, next to the deli. Please follow the signs.

Q. Will there be access for people with disabilities?
A. Yes, access is provided through Hotel Reception.

Q. How will we contact Members’ Reception?
A. Members can call the Club number as normal on 020 8614 6420.

Q. Can we still make bookings through Members’ Reception?
A. Yes, Members will be able to make bookings at Hotel Reception or the temporary Members’ Reception office which will be located next to Hotel Reception and at Lockside.

Q. How can guests be signed in?
A. Guests can be signed in at Hotel Reception or Lockside.

Q. Can we still access the Co-working space & how will we access the space?
A. The Co-working space will remain open and can be accessed through Hotel Reception and along the corridor to the Conference Centre.

Q. Can we still borrow equipment i.e. Pickleball, Tennis Racquets, etc?
A. Yes, a small supply of equipment will be available via Hotel Reception.

Q. Will the rest of The Lensbury still operate as normal i.e. The Bar & Restaurant?
A. Yes, the works will not impact our normal operation. The Bar & Restaurant will be open as normal.

Q. Will the bike racks at Members’ Reception still be accessible?

A. The bike racks will continue to be available initially. We will update you as soon as the bike racks are temporarily taken out of action.
