Do I need a membership to play? arrow-down

You do not require a membership to use our tennis facilities, however there are a host of benefits.

The current Tennis Club Membership benefits are as follows:

  • Access to the grass courts in the Summer season (May to September)
  • Entry into the internal tennis box leagues
  • Entry into the annual Tennis Club Championships
  • Entry into ad hoc tennis events (such as American Mixed Doubles)
  • Eligibility to play for The Lensbury teams in the Middlesex leagues
  • 10% discount on tennis products at Member’s Reception (tennis balls, grips, string shock absorbers)

The current Tennis Club Membership offering will be removed from 1st January 2024. For anybody that has paid the £52 fee in 2023, you will receive a pro rata refund for the amount of days remaining on your 1 year membership in 2024. The Racquets Manager will contact you all individually about this in due course.

How do I access the grass courts? arrow-down

To access our grass courts, you will need to call Member’s Reception to make a booking (grass courts cannot be booked via the app or online). All players will need to collect a Lensbury Tennis Club membership shoe tag from members reception prior to play, this must be worn at all times when using the grass courts. Gates to our grass courts will be locked and a new weekly padlock code will be sent out via email to you every week by the Racquets Manager.
