A day to remember at our biggest event of the summer!
The Lensbury’s Riverside Festival made a triumphant return last Saturday, bringing sunshine, music, and community spirit to the banks of the Thames. As our biggest event of the summer, the festival was a true celebration of local talent, family fun, and the joy of being together in such a beautiful riverside setting.
The day kicked off with an impressive showcase of young talent from Teddington School, delighting the crowd with their energy and enthusiasm. Their performance set a lively tone that carried through the entire event. The One Man Band followed, bringing a unique and entertaining flair to the stage. Jazz lovers were then treated to the smooth sounds of Jake Fryer and All That Jazz, whose performance added a touch of sophistication to the afternoon. Jason Darling took to the stage next, captivating the audience with his soulful vocals and laid-back style.
As the sun began to dip, the atmosphere reached a high point with the arrival of Rick Parfitt Jnr, who brought the house down with a high-octane set that had everyone on their feet. His performance was the perfect finale to a day packed with entertainment and good vibes.
Throughout the festival, guests enjoyed a wide variety of food and drink options, from sizzling BBQ favourites to refreshing cocktails and sweet treats. The riverside lawn was buzzing with activity, with families and friends relaxing, laughing, and soaking up the sunshine.
There was no shortage of things to do, with paddleboarding, kayaking, games, and creative workshops keeping both kids and adults entertained. Whether you were dancing by the stage, exploring the river, or simply enjoying a drink in the sun, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you performed, volunteered, or simply came along to enjoy the day. Your energy and enthusiasm made the Riverside Festival one to remember. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back to The Lensbury for more unforgettable moments.
