What does the 12‑month membership involve? arrow-down

If you choose to join:

  • Your current (2025/26) rate is locked for 12 months.
  • The new 12-month membership begins on 1st April 2026.
  • No freezes or cancellations are permitted during the 12-month period.
  • At the end of the 12-month term, you may recommit again to another 12 months or move to a flexible membership.

When will the new prices take effect? arrow-down

The updated membership rates will apply from 1st April 2026.

Can I keep my current membership rate? arrow-down

Yes. We are delighted to advise that in response to member feedback, we have introduced a fixed 12-month membership option, which when signed up for, will retain the same rate as 2025/26 for Peak Members. This 12-month commitment will commence 1st April 2026.

The 12-month membership option runs in line with the terms and conditions (click here to view), for 12 full calendar months and members may recommit for a further 12 months at the end of the term.

How do I recontract and sign the 12-month agreement? arrow-down

Click here to request a change to our 12-month membership.

Once we receive your request to join the 12-month membership option, you will be sent a link to sign your new membership terms and conditions. These must be completed by Wednesday 11th March 2026. If they are not signed by this deadline, your request will not be processed, and you will be charged the flexible rate for your membership category until such time as the paperwork has been processed. Agreement must be signed by the lead member only.

Will my rate increase during the 12-month contract? arrow-down

No. Prices only increase on 1st April each year. Please see membership Terms and Conditions.

Can I freeze my membership instead of joining the 12-month membership? arrow-down

Those on a flexible membership may freeze their membership for 3–6 months. Freezing is not available on the 12-month membership agreementTerms and conditions apply.

Can I cancel my membership during the 12-month contract? arrow-down

No. A 12-month membership is a fixed-term agreement. Please see membership Terms and Conditions.

What if I need to cancel early due to illness, relocation, or financial hardship? arrow-down

Early termination requests may be considered with supporting documentation such as a doctor’s letter, redundancy notice, or proof of relocation.

What happens at the end of my 12-month contract? arrow-down

At the end of your term, you may:

  • Recontract for another 12 months, or
  • Move to the flexible membership at the prevailing rate

If you wish to end your membership at the end of the 12-month term, you must give one full calendar months’ notice before the end of month 11.

If you do not contact us, your membership will automatically transfer to the flexible membership option and associated rate from the 13th month.

You may recontract at any time by providing one full calendar months’ notice.

How do I give notice? arrow-down

Notice must be in writing or via email to membership@lensbury.com and is only effective once received. If you wish to end your membership at the end of the 12-month term, you must give one full calendar months’ notice before the end of month 11.

Will I receive confirmation when I give notice? arrow-down

Yes. The club will confirm receipt within 5 days.

What if I wish to add family members to my membership? arrow-down

If you wish to benefit from the 12-month membership rates for all family members, adding new family members requires commitment to a new 12-month membership agreement for the whole family, running for 12 calendar month from the recontract date.  

Do I need to pay another joining fee? arrow-down

No joining fee applies when recommitting for another 12 months.

What happens if I forget to give notice at the end of the 12-month membership? arrow-down

If notice is received late, your membership will automatically continue for one month at the prevailing flexible rate.

What if I do not wish to continue my membership? arrow-down

If you do not wish to continue your membership beyond 31st March 2026 with the new pricing, you may cancel so that your final month is March, ending on 31st March. 

To do this, you must send written notice to membership@lensbury.com before: 

Wednesday 11th March 2026 

Submitting notice before the highlighted date ensures your cancellation is treated as received on March 1st, ending your membership on March 31st. 

Any requests received after this date will result in your membership ending on Thursday 30th April.  

What if I wish to remain on my current flexible membership? arrow-down

If you choose to remain on your current flexible membership, the following will apply: 

  • From 1st April, your membership will automatically move to the new flexible membership rate.  
  • There will be no change to your current membership terms, in line with the Club Rules.
